I noticed that the retail sales of a combined wholesale/retail shop weren't growing, and there was frequent confusion from our wholesale audience regarding usability and product availability. I proposed creating a separate website where we could tailor the product availability, navigation, site search, SEO and landing pages to the appropriate audience. This ultimately involved fully developing this site and sourcing a connection between Shopify & our ERP. This project continues to be the backbone of the retail operation. The result has been improved communication with our customers, PR collaborations/features, and crucially, the growth of the retail business. Designed & managed through Shopify.
Wholesale eCommerce Website
Updated and maintained a B2B eCommerce website offering jewelry, accessories & gifts. The website was already successful at showcasing the products’ stories, but the layout was outdated and difficult to navigate. In addition to visual updates, I developed a centralized wholesale portal to consolidate all the resources our wholesale partners would use.
